Welcome to the Newstart4u website.
During the last major recession we produced a series of booklets that were distributed around the country with the aim of helping people who were looking for Employment, Training, Education and Advice. Typically these were distributed wherever we felt the booklets were required by the target audience. Locations were Adult Education Centres, Job Centres, libraries, Colleges and Universities.
That was then. This is now.
When the booklets were last produced the Internet was not as widely available as it is now and although we had a web presence, it did leave a lot to be desired.
The books were discontinued when the country started to come out of the recession. We thought at the time (and were promised) the end of boom and bust. That’ll teach us to trust politicians!
Anyway, we have revived the idea but this time, there are no booklets, only the website.
We hope it will help you to find what you need.
Although there is a wealth of information out there, you can’t have too much of a
good thing. We welcome contributions from individuals or agencies who would like
to help. We will acknowledge all contributions from individuals in our article archive
section and offer back-

We are planning to introduce a forum (when time permits),where we hope visitors will participate. We hope this will prove to be a great source of information and sections within the site where everyone will get the chance to share their own experiences, offer help and support to everyone else who is in the same position as they are.....or might find themselves in.
